My love of weddings...
Simply smitten...that's the best way I can describe my feeling towards the bridal industry. Smitten with weddings and will continue to be even after I have my big day. To start, let me introduce myself. My name is Kat, and I'm originally from Honolulu, Hawaii. I've been living in Hollywood for the past couple years, and have found an immense passion for the special events industry, with an emphasis on weddings . I mean come on, I've been fantasizing about what my big day was going to be like since I was, uh, seven! Throughout high school, I flipped through the pages of Modern Bride, instead of those teeny bopper magazines, and sketching wedding dresses in chemistry class! Ha! My prom dress even ended up being a designer wedding gown! I found myself obsessed with anything and everything to do with a girl's big day! So here I am, a 23 year old woman eager to share valuable information on the topic I know best! To all you brides out there, feel free to check in as often as you can, and ask me as many questions as you like. My goal is to inspire all you princesses out there who have found their prince charming, and are ready to make the most important day of any woman's life, everything that you've dreamed it would be!

I'm glad you're enjoying it. I've been in the wedding industry on and off for almost 8 years now, and I want out! I can't stand it anymore. It's full of crazy Bridezillas freaking out about everything being the right shade of off-white as their grooms helplessly wonder when the torture will end. The wedding industry has a dark underbelly, and you see every relationship dynamic there is. I pray for the day when I can get a different job and never think about anyone else's wedding but my own. So don't get a job in the wedding industry. I don't want it to be ruined for you like it was for me.
